The lowest overhead costs

In order to supply the best overall value we must be committed to having the lowest overhead. There are two things that drive most belt companies overhead that we are committed to keeping low.

• Cost of sales – Conveyor Belt Designs is focus solely on the OEM and Industrial Distribution market place. This is a very knowledgeable and capable customer base. An expensive outside sales force is not necessary to supply the highest level of service and support. At Conveyor Belt Designs we don’t expect our clients to pay excessive commissions.

• Inventory – Most belt companies stock hundreds of belts in order to supply a product for every application conceivable. In reality 20% of the belt specs will handle about 80% of the belt applications. Conveyor Belt Designs doesn’t expect our clients to pay for an extensive inventory of belt that they will never buy. Our commitment is to stock the belts for the top 80% of the applications and supply the other 20% on a per order basis.
